Daniela Zakina est née et a grandi en Bulgarie. Elle est diplômée de l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Sofia. Établie au Québec depuis vingt ans, elle illustre de nombreux livres pour enfants et expose en Europe et en Amérique. Ses illustrations aux détails subtils cherchent à captiver l’enfant en lui offrant un monde riche en fantaisie. Ses tableaux sont exposés à la Galerie Archambault à Lavaltrie (QC) et à la Galerie Jeannine Blais à North Hatley (QC).
Daniela Zekina was born and grew up in Bulgaria and graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia but has been living in Québec for twenty years. She illustrates numerous children’s books and exhibits her work in Europe and America. Her subtly detailed illustrations aim to captivate children by presenting them with a world rich in fantasy. Her paintings are exhibited at the Archambault Gallery in Lavaltrie (Québec) and at the Jeannine Blais Gallery in North Hatley (Québec).
